Open Mat Policy

Open Mat sessions are available to members of affiliated Rooted and Sabre academies. Visitors from non-affiliated gyms must obtain prior approval before attending. Please contact rootedjiujitsu@icloud.com to request authorization.

 

Youth Program Placement

Students are typically assigned to classes based on age. However, instructors may place students in a different class when skill level, experience, size, or maturity warrants advancement. This may include permitting qualified teens to participate in adult classes at the instructors’ discretion.

 

Schedule Updates

Any changes to the class schedule—including tournament-related adjustments, holiday closures, special events, or additional training opportunities—will be announced through the Rooted Jiu Jitsu Instagram Story. Members are encouraged to check regularly for the latest updates.
